Contractor credits
Australian Government Solicitor:
- Developed the Charter, Constitution and Functional Specification
- Maintains the Licence Comparison Table.
- Wrote the Local System User Guide
- Developed the Website Strategy and Functional and Technical Specification for the original public website.
- Assisted with the management of User Acceptance Testing.
- Rewrote the Licensing Overview and other introductory material for the new website.
Capstone Consulting:
- Acted as Establishment Manager in the establishment of AEShareNet Limited.
- Project manages various technical contracts.
- Developed the Local System for data entry.
- Developed the core licensing system (i.e. the Members Area and software which manages all aspects of member administration, uploading, searching and displaying Material Registrations, licensing, clearance and royalty reporting).
- Wrote the Training Manual.
- Redeveloped the public website at the end of 2003, including advising on a new navigation structure and re-writing some of the content to improve usability.
- Developed the graphic design and HTML templates for the new site and undertook most of the HTML conversion from the old site to the new.
Electronic Trading Concepts:
- Developed the graphic design for the first version of the public website and some graphic elements for the Members Area.
Technical environment
The AEShareNet server is hosted by Telstra as part of Networking Tasmania.
The server environment consists of a dedicated P3 dual 850MHz server with 512MB RAM and mirrored 18GB SCSI drive running Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft IIS 5.0 Webserver.
The server has a 100 Mbps connection to Big Pond Direct
The core licensing system is written using Visual C++ and ASP
The server runs two complete instances of the software, on at www.aesharenet.com.au which is the live licensing system and one at training.aesharenet.com.au which is used for training and demonstration purposes.
