Transition of AEShareNet to a new Ministerial Company.
As Members are aware, the AEShareNet operation is to be transferred from
the special-purpose company that has fostered it since the year 2000, to a
new company. This is welcomed by all concerned, because it creates the opportunity
for greater integration, and enhanced services to Members.
The intention is that the new company will assume responsibility in the near
future. In the meantime, we appreciate that the year is marching on, and Members
need to have confidence in the ongoing reliability and integrity of the AEShareNet
services.
We are working to ensure that the operational aspects of the AEShareNet service will continue through the transition period, without any interruptions or reductions of service, and with ongoing, progressive improvement.
Further, the commercial aspects of the service will continue throughout the
remainder of 2006, including all aspects of Member and Associate subscriptions.
The new company is developing its Business Plan, but in the meantime Members
are advised to plan for 2007 on the basis that similar arrangements will apply
as have been in place for the last four (4) years.
During the 2006 transitional period queries about AEShareNets products
and services should be addressed in the first instance in the normal way to
AEShareNets Customer Service Officers.
