AEShareNet is pleased to announce a new approach to licensing materials - through a concept called Instant Licences. This will change the way AEShareNet operates and will get more resources into students' hands faster as transactions are no longer requires. The concept is simple: as long as the material has legitimately had an Instant Licence Mark (FfE, U, S or P) placed on the copy, you can use it Instantly. Within the graphic Mark is a link to the Conditions of Use on the AEShareNet website, which explains how the material can be used. The Marks are available to everyone, free of charge. Large internal repositories and intranets will find this particularly useful to clarify how the material was intended to be used. Click here to go to our Benefits page.
AEShareNet continues to provide a full e-business platform for transacting licences for products where commercialisation or special conditions are the main focus. The C and E licence types are mediated through the AEShareNet system as before, and require listing in the AEShareNet catalogue.
