AEShareNet's "Unlocking IP" Conference Hailed As A Success

AEShareNet, in association with the Baker & McKenzie Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre, held the inaugural 'Unlocking IP" Conference on 18 and 19 November 2004 at The Scientia, University of NSW, Sydney.

Delegates from around Australia came to see presentations made by representatives from the education and legal professions and to discuss issues and ideas in the trading and sharing of intellectual property, copyright and open content licensing.

A highlight of the conference was the Panel Discussion on the second day, which opened up a lively and engaging debate between speakers and delegates.

Delegates said they "were impressed with the thought which went into each session and the level of engagement around them" and "...really enjoyed the sessions, and provided so much information".
