AEShareNet was one of the key sessions at a Commercialising IP Conference in Melbourne in late August 2004. The 2-day program was varied and covered topics such as Managing IP in Australia, Practical Issues in Licensing for maximizing ROI; a number of workshops from Co-operative Research Centres around Research and Patent Issues; Taxation Considerations for IP; Knowledge Commercialisation in Australia; and the Free Trade Agreement implications for IP protection. The AEShareNet Model attracted considerable interest and enthusiasm among participants and the paper for this session can be found on the AEShareNet website.
