Licensing and Obtaining Materials using the AEShareNet Website

Our core business is about licensing of materials - the right to adapt and reproduce learning materials for use in your organisations training delivery or for other purposes. However because the AEShareNet webiste contains a consolidated list of materials owned by many different training organisations it is one very good place to look for learning materials. (Other sources are available via our External Links page).

When you do a search on the AEShareNet website and view details of what we call a Material Registration, our site will always provide contact details for the member who put this material in the database (follow the link on the Budget Centre name). If the member has provided a URL specific to this material the Material Registration page will also contain a link to the Members website containing additional information about this specific material - it may even include the actual material.

We are working with our members to integrate the supply of materials with the taking out of an AEShareNet licence. However it is important to understand the distinction between these two activities. This is discussed on Supply and Licensing of Copyright Material which also provides details of the conditions in each of the AEShareNet licence protocols on the supply of material associated with taking out a licence.
