About Us

AEShareNet is a collaborative system implemented to streamline the licensing of intellectual property so that Australian learning materials are developed, shared and adapted efficiently. It is owned by the Australian Education Ministers, and is a non profit organisation dedicated to maximising the use and reuse of learning materials.

Established in 1999, AESharenet has over 21,000 listed resources, and more than 500 organisations listing and trading materials. Participating organisations include TAFEs private RTOs, universities, publishers and multi media companies across Australia.

AEShareNet connects people who are looking for learning materials with those who own them, and automates the negotiation and licensing process. It provides a secure on line platform for immediate licence transactions via its website. Traditionally, the discovery, licencsing and purchase of learning materials has been both arduous and time consuming. However, sharing resources via AEShareNet is easy to do.

AEShareNet also provides detailed general information on copyright and licensing issues. For more details visit www.aesharenet.com.au
