This page allows you to view the full details of a Licence you have selected. There is also a link to view the Material Registration that is the subject of this Licence. At the bottom of the page is a history of the various versions of this Licence.
A Licence in AEShareNet is a record of an agreement made between two Members to allow the use of a given piece of material. The terms of the licence are provided by the Licence Protocol under which the agreement was made. In the case of an AEShareNet-C licence any customised terms are also stored with the licence. The licence records the licensor, the licensee, the licence period, the title and description of the material, and the material registration number of the material registration that describes it. Each licence is assigned a unique ID, which may be used to reference the licence. As well as current licences, various other types of licences are stored within the system. These include draft, under negotiation, variation proposals, and terminated licences.
If you are the Licensee or the Licensor of the Licence you are viewing, and you have the correct privileges, then you may be able to perform certain actions in relation to the Licence. These actions are dependent on the Status of the Licence. See the section Buttons below for information on the various actions that may be performed on a Licence.
