Description: 
This new CD ROM is a numeracy Certificate of General Education for Adults resource. It would be appropriate for learners at Certificate I (Introductory) and Certificate I levels. It contains facts and figures about personal water use, language activities arising from a written passage about water use in George and Mary's home, understanding your water bill including the graph of water use, facts and figures about water use in an average home including percentage calculations, water saving ideas (from the internet), Melbourne's water storages and water use in other countries. Learner will identify and judge the size of metric measurements used in everyday situations, respond to the meaning of words and idioms in a passage of writing, read and identify the parts of a water bill, interpret the meaning of a bar graphs from a bill, read information from a pie graph, use 10% to calculate other percentages, find information about water saving from internet addresses, calculate percentage of the total using a calculator and compare figures with other countries. This resource is available on a CD ROM.

Interpretation of Licence Conditions:

Special Conditions: (Customised Term)
A copy of the customised material must be lodged with TAFE frontiers within sixty (60) days of receipt of the masters. If the licensee fails to lodge a copy of the customised material under this agreement, the license will be suspended. Any embedded copyright materials, for which permission has been granted to TAFE frontiers, may not be included in the reproduced material without the express permission of the original copyright owner. Licence only available to Registered Training Organisations.
 
Use / User Rights and Copies:
Comprehensive right to Use the Licensed Material.

Unrestricted Copies permitted subject to 'Special Conditions' above.
Original Metadata (including AEShareNet-C Licence Mark must be retained.

Any distribution mode @ 33% of the Published Vic RTO Price, or any price that replaces the Vic RTO Price within the TAFE frontiers pricing structure, per copy. The license fee will be based on the Vic RTO price at the end of each quarter.

Who can extend a licence:
Any AEShareNet Member who is the owner of Copyright in the Licensed Material, or otherwise entitled to grant the Licence.
 
Mandatory Requirements:
The Licensor Registers the Material at the AEShareNet Website, specifying the AEShareNet-C Licence Regime.
Checkboxes and customisable details must be completed as appropriate at some point prior to Acceptance.
 
Guidelines:
The Licensor may apply - within, on or in relation to Copies of the Material:

* a Copyright Statement;
* the AEShareNet-C Licence Mark; and/or
* a URL link to the Material Registration at the AEShareNet website.
